Bakugan, in case you dont have kids, was the #1 best-selling toy worldwide for young children in 2009. The offline game resembles a combination of Pokemon, marbles, and Transformers. There is also a show on the Cartoon Network done in a true Japanimation style that adds to the mythology. So when Activision announced the release of a video game, there was a great anticipation from the Bakugan fan community.
To promote the release of the game, I was given the assignment to design its web site. The idea here is that we are entering a completely new world of Bakugan. A place where we will be utterly immersed in an exciting new experience. This is all about exploration and discovery—we have entered a different dimension where the game has been taken to new level and anything is possible. It’s up to us to search the city for hidden surprises and challenges in this new, richer Bakugan experience.
