Hawaii-based Outrigger Hotels and Resorts has a diverse portfolio
of properties primarily in exotic travel locations such as Hawaii,
Guam, and Fiji. While the redesign of the Outrigger website's primary
goal was to increase conversions and facilitate booking, a secondary
objective was to merge the various properties, each with its own
distinct personality, into a seamless online browsing experience.
To achieve this, the site uses a collection of rich and ethereal
imagery to serve as the backgrounds for the various properties,
providing the user with a feeling of travel and a glimpse of the
exotic locations represented by Outrigger.
